DPS JAMMU EXCELS IN CBSE CHAMPIONSHIP

The students of Delhi Public School, Jammu participated in the CBSE Cluster North Zone, held at Remal Public School, New Delhi recently. Dhruv Gupta of class IX G, an outstanding skater of the institution brought laurels to the school by winning Gold medal in (1000 m race).
On the basis of his performance in the above said tournament, he has been selected to represent the state at the National Level Competition to be held in December, 2015.
Simultaneously, 7th Sub-Junior National Speed Ball Championship was held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi in which Abid Wani of VIII-K represented J&K state in the said competition and won Silver medal.
Ms. Ruchi Chabra, Principal DPS Jammu and Ms. Meenu Gupta, Headmistress DPS Jammu congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of the coach and the participants for their achievements.
Sh. S. S. Sodhi, Hon’ble Director, DPS Jammu also congratulated the winners and wished them for their bright future.
