SAMAR KAPOOR OF DPS JAMMU SHINES IN UCMAS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION 2024

Samar Kapoor (Class V-C), a student of Delhi Public School Jammu, has brought great honor to both his school and family by securing the prestigious 3rd position and a Certificate of Recognition in the UCMAS International Competition 2024, held in Delhi on December 14, 2024. The results were recently announced, and Samar stood out among 6,000 participants from 30 countries for his exceptional talent in mathematics. In addition to this remarkable achievement, Samar also participated in the UCMAS National Competition 2024 on the same day, earning appreciation for his impressive skills.
UCMAS (Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System) is a renowned child development program focused on visual arithmetic and the use of abacus techniques. Designed for children between the ages of 4 and 13, UCMAS not only enhances mathematical abilities but also promotes whole-brain development, fostering essential skills such as memory, concentration, creativity, and problem-solving. These fundamental skills empower children to achieve greater success, not only in academics but also in life.
