DPS Jammu Pre -Primary Wing Celebrates Sports Day

The much-awaited Pre-Primary Sports Day was held with great enthusiasm and excitement on March 6, 2025, at Delhi Public School, Jammu. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among our little learners.
The day began with an energetic opening ceremony, where the children marched confidently, waving their hands with joy. The event was inaugurated by Principal Ma’am, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, who encouraged the young participants with her inspiring words. Vice Principal Ma’am, Ms. Meenu Gupta, also motivated the students, urging them to actively participate and give their best performance.
A variety of fun-filled races and activities were organized, specially designed to suit the abilities and interests of pre-primary children. The main highlight of the event was the drill performance by the students of Class 1, where they showcased synchronization and coordination in a vibrant display of teamwork.
Additionally, exciting events like Ball Balancing Race, Hurdle Race, Lemon & Spoon Race, Balloon Bursting Race, and Hula Hoop Race kept the audience entertained. The tiny tots displayed boundless energy, determination, and sheer joy as they participated with enthusiasm.
The cheerful audience and supportive teachers created a lively and encouraging atmosphere, applauding the efforts of every child. The winners were honored with medals.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Academic Coordinator, Ms. Richa Gupta, who appreciated the hard work of the teachers, support staff, and volunteers in making the day a grand success.
A special note of gratitude goes to the esteemed parents and the distinguished School Management whose unwavering support and vision for holistic education made this event possible. Their commitment to fostering a balanced and enriching learning environment ensures that our young learners not only excel academically but also develop a love for sports and teamwork. The smiles on the children’s faces were the true reward of the day, making it a memorable and joyous celebration of sports and camaraderie.
