DPS Jammu Ranked No. 1 in City, Honored Among India’s Top 40 Literary Leaders at NYAF 2024-25

Delhi Public School Jammu has once again cemented its position as a pioneer in literary excellence by securing the No. 1 Rank in Jammu City at the National Young Authors’ Fair (NYAF) 2024, a prestigious initiative by Bri Books in collaboration with Education World. The school has also been recognized among India’s Top 40 Literary Leaders for its outstanding contribution to creative writing and literary excellence, receiving a grand trophy and a citation at the National Awards & Exhibition – NYAF 2024/25 Edition held in Gurugram on March 29, 2025.

With an impressive 178 registered authors and 122 published authors, DPS Jammu holds the highest number of published student authors in the city. The school’s relentless efforts in fostering young literary talent have provided students with national and global platforms to showcase their creativity and originality through writing.

The prestigious award was received on behalf of the school by Ms. Rupali Sharma, Head of the English Department, DPS Jammu, who had the distinguished honor of interacting with Smt. Smriti Irani Ji at the event. She was also featured in an exclusive interview with NDTV, bringing national recognition to the school’s achievements.

The award was presented by Ami Dror, founder and President, Bribooks and Bhavin Shah, CEO, Education World. They highly appreciated the school's efforts in nurturing young minds to think creatively.

This remarkable feat is a testament to the visionary leadership of the esteemed management of DPS Jammu, led by Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kunwrani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, along with Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra and staff. Their unwavering support, along with the dedication of the faculty, has been instrumental in shaping young minds into prolific writers.
