DPS JAMMU’S DHAIRYA KOTWAL QUALIFIES FOR CBSE NATIONAL LEVEL SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP

Delhi Public School Jammu is proud to announce that Dhairya Kotwal, a promising young shooter from Class VI-D, has brought great honour to the school by qualifying for the CBSE National Level Shooting Championship 2025.

Dhairya showcased exceptional skill and determination at the CBSE North Zone-II Shooting Championship, held at The Milestone Smart School, Punjab from 25th to 29th July 2025. Competing in the Air Rifle Women (Peep Sight) event in the Under-14 Girls category, she secured a place among the Top 5 performers with an impressive individual score of 386. With this stellar performance, she has earned a coveted spot in the CBSE Nationals, scheduled to be held in Noida later this year.

This is not Dhairya’s first triumph. Earlier this year, she also clinched 1st position at the Inter-School Shooting Tournament held in Jammu, further establishing her potential in the sport.

The Management of DPS Jammu, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished Pro-Vice Chairperson, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, congratulated Dhairya on her outstanding achievement. Principal Ms. Ruchi Chabra, along with the entire staff, also lauded her dedication and sportsmanship and extended heartfelt appreciation to her coach, Ms. Renu Devi, for her expert mentorship and consistent support.
