Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh and Sh. S.S. Sodhi Release Books Authored by DPS Jammu Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra

Delhi Public School Jammu proudly announces the release of two inspiring books authored by its Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, at a graceful ceremony held in the presence of KunwaraniDr. Ritu Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, and Sh. S.S. Sodhi, Director, DPS Jammu.
The two books -The Things We Carry and Seer of the Moonland, reflect both the depth of human experience and the boundless beauty of cultural imagination.
The Things We Carry is a deeply moving collection of stories that explore the unseen burdens and quiet strengths that define everyday life. Written with warmth and empathy, the book connects readers across generations, inspiring reflection and hope.
Seer of the Moonland is an evocative novel inspired by the mystic landscapes and cultural soul of Ladakh. Interweaving myth, memory, and human longing, it brings alive a world where the ancient and the eternal coexist — a tale of divine love, remembrance, and destiny.
Speaking at the release, KunwaraniDr. Ritu Singh, whose dynamic vision and aesthetic sensibility continue to inspire the DPS fraternity, appreciated the author’s creative spirit, saying that “books such as these remind us that education must go beyond classrooms to touch hearts and awaken imagination.”
Sh. S.S. Sodhi, Director, DPS Jammu J&K, commended Ms. Ruchi Chabra for her literary accomplishment, noting that “her writing reflects the values of resilience, reflection, and purpose that DPS Jammu strives to instil in its students.” He further appreciated her dedication to creative expression while leading one of the region’s foremost institutions.
Expressing her heartfelt gratitude, Ms. Ruchi Chabra said,
“With heartfelt regards, I am delighted to present the first copy of my book to Hon’ble President Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Pro Vice Chairperson KunwaraniDr. Ritu Singh Ji, and Director Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji. Their inspiring leadership and vision for excellence at DPS Jammu continue to guide and motivate all of us. It is with their blessings that I share my humble work.”
She further added, “Books are not just words on paper; they are the companions that shape us, comfort us, and help us discover ourselves. Through The Things We Carry and Seer of the Moonland, I wish to share both the inner landscapes of emotion and the outer landscapes of culture with my readers.”
