DPS Jammu’s Ragini Gupta Shines at 9th AIPA National Pickleball Championship

Delhi Public School Jammu proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its talented student, Ragini Gupta, of Class XII-B, who brought laurels to the school and the Union Territory by excelling in the 9th AIPA National Pickleball Championship 2025, held recently in Jammu from 26th to 28th September 2025.

The championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Pickleball Association and witnessed participation from over 900 entries representing 22 States and Union Territories, with more than 500 participants and coaches competing in various categories.

Representing Jammu and Kashmir, Ragini Gupta participated in three major categories — Under-19 Singles, Open Singles, and Mixed Doubles. Displaying exceptional skill, composure, and sportsmanship, she won the Gold Medal in the Under-19 Singles category, defeating strong contenders from Punjab, Kerala, Maharashtra, and other states. She further secured two Bronze Medals — one in the Open Women’s Singles and another in the Mixed Doubles category, partnering with her brother Umang Gupta, an alumnus of DPS Jammu.

Out of the four medals won by the Jammu and Kashmir team, an impressive three were bagged by Ragini, making her a true pride of the region and an inspiration for young athletes across the country.


The distinguished Management of DPS Jammu — Hon’ble President RCT, M.K.Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chairperson, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji,Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji along with the Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, congratulated Ragini on her stellar performance and commended her dedication, discipline, and determination that have made both the school and the Union Territory proud. They also appreciated the efforts of her parents and coaches for their continuous support and encouragement and wished her continued success in all future endeavours.
