DPS JAMMU STUDENTS QUALIFY FOR NATIONAL LEVEL SWIMMING COMPETITION

Five young and talented students from Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning 9 gold and 1 silver medal at the Inter-District UT-Level Swimming Competition, organized by the District Youth & Sports Services, Jammu, held from 3rd to 7th October 2025.
The details of the winners are as follows:
Under-14 Girls
• Manha Pervaiz Malik (VII-J) – 1 Gold Medal in 100m Freestyle
• Mayra Thakur (VIII-F) – 3 Gold Medals in 50m Freestyle and 100m Backstroke
Under-17 Boys
• Musa Pervaiz Malik (X-F) – 3 Gold Medals in 50m & 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly
• Shivdev Singh (IX-B) – 1 Gold Medal in 100m Freestyle
Under-19 Boys
• Raghav Jamwal (XII-A) – 1 Gold Medal in 200m and 1 Silver Medal in 50m
All the above students have also been selected for the National Level Swimming Competition, scheduled to be held in January 2026.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, along with Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, congratulated all the winners, their proud parents, and School Swimming Coach, Mr. Ravinder Deonia, for this outstanding achievement. They also extended their best wishes to the students for their future endeavours.
