AMEYA CHOUREY OF DPS JAMMU EXCELS AT DISTRICT LEVEL CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP 2025-26

Ameya Chourey, a Grade XI student of Delhi Public School Jammu, brought laurels to the school and his parents by winning the Silver Medal and securing 2nd place in the Jammu District Cycling Championship 2025-26, organized by the Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir. The event was held at M.A. Stadium, Jammu, on 26th October 2025.
Competing in the Open Category, Ameya impressively completed 12 laps in 40 minutes, earning a Merit Certificate for his exceptional performance.
Earlier, Ameya had showcased his cycling prowess at the 21st National Mountain Biking Championship 2024, where he secured a place among the Top 10 in the Under-18 Division. The prestigious event witnessed participation from over 100 cyclists representing various regions across the country.
