DPS Jammu Shines at KCMUN 2025

Manini Sharma (XII-H) Wins Best Delegate in AIPPM Committee
Jammu, November 2, 2025:
Delhi Public School Jammu once again demonstrated its excellence in leadership, critical thinking, and diplomacy as its students achieved remarkable success at the 7th Edition of KC Model United Nations (KCMUN 2025), hosted by KC Public School from 30th October to 1st November 2025.
The event brought together bright young minds from across Jammu to deliberate on global and national issues through structured debate and collaboration. Among the seven committees, DPS Jammu delegates left a distinguished mark in the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), which deliberated on the agenda “Realigning the Vision of Viksit Bharat 2047: Reviewing India’s Progress, Enhancing Disaster Resilience, and Addressing Fund Allocation Challenges Amid Increasing Natural Calamities.”
From DPS Jammu, Manini Sharma (XII-H) won the coveted Best Delegate Award, while Vaidik Taggar (XII-H) earned High Commendation, Sparsh Bakshi (XI-B) received Special Mention, and Akshdeep Singh Sodhi (XII-H) secured the Verbal Mention.
The three-day conference offered students a platform to engage in meaningful dialogue, understand the nuances of public policy, and strengthen their diplomatic and persuasive communication skills. Through this enriching experience, DPS Jammu students showcased not only their intellectual acumen but also their commitment to shaping a progressive, informed generation of young leaders.
The esteemed Management of DPS Jammu—Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji—along with Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, and the school staff, congratulated students and their proud parents on this remarkable achievement. They also extended their best wishes to them for continued success in all such future events.
