DPS JAMMU STUDENTS WIN GOLD MEDALS IN NORTH ZONE TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP

Students of Delhi Public School Jammu, Kyra Thakyal (Class I-F) and Lakshay Bhatia (Class IX-G), brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning gold medals in the NTTIA Classic North Zone Taekwondo Championship 2025, organized by NEGI Taekwondo India and held at Chandigarh on 26th October 2025.
Kyra showcased an exceptional performance by winning two gold medals — one in the Fight event and another in Poomsae. Lakshay also excelled by clinching a gold medal in the Fight event. Additionally, he successfully cleared his Black Belt test, earning a highly respected rank in Taekwondo.
The esteemed Management of DPS Jammu, including Hon’ble President–RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, along with Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, congratulated the young champions, their proud parents, and their coach Mr. Suresh Kumar for this remarkable achievement.
They also extended their best wishes to the winners for continued success in all their future endeavours.
