Delhi Public School Jammu won ‘Debate Competition’

Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu participated in ‘Debate Competition’ held at Dogra Law College, Bari Brahmna and brought laurels to the school by winning Ist position.
Sarash Irshad of class XI-E of the school won Ist Prize in 5th Matushri Interschool Debate Contest, during their Golden Jubilee celebration , while Niharika Sharma of class XI-F bagged a ‘Certificate of Merit’. The topic of the Debate was ‘Qualified Legislatures shall be Conducive for Democracy and Good Governance’. Prizes were given away by the Former Minister and Chairman, Dogra Law College, Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak.
Ms. Ruchi Chabra, Principal DPS, Jammu congratulated the students and lauded the efforts of the Senior teacher Ms. Manpreet Kour who guided the students. She also stated that such events are very important for the students, in order to enhance their talent and skills.
