Delhi Public School, Jammu excelled in Inter School Chess Championship

Delhi Public School, Jammu excelled in Inter School Chess Championship organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, Jammu held at M.A.Stadium from 1ST to 4th June 2016 by winning 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Medals in Under 14 & Under 17 categories respectively. The Gold Medal was won by Soham Kamotra of VII D. Silver Medals were won by Navdeep Singh of X G & Superb Jain of 8 G, while Jaiveer Singh of X G received the Bronze Medal. The Gold and Silver Medal winners have qualified for the District Level of the Chess Championship to be held later.
Principal, Ms Ruchi Chabra congratulated and lauded the efforts of all the winners and their parents for the achievement. The team was escorted by the Physical Education teacher Ms Meenu Ragesh.
