DPS Jammu Awarded Inter –DPS Best Rhythmic and Synchronized Dance Performance

DPS Jammu participated in Inter DPS Dance competition- 2016 organized by The Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi held at DPS Chandigarh on 06 August 2016. The theme of the competition was ‘TAMSO MAA JOYTIRGAMYA” (from darkness to light), in which about 18 teams participated. DPS Jammu bagged 3rd runner up position and also won the award for the best rhythmic and synchronized performance. The theme was based on the true story of one Mr Aditya Tiwari, an acclaimed youngest single father of his adopted son, Binny. The participants were Trisha Mahajan XII-B, Rajnandni XI-J ,Anenya Verma X-B, Bhavya Jain X-A, Gauri Sharma X-A, Khushi Anand IX-J, Arpitaa Mangotra IX-D, Antra Dhar VIII -B and Tarini Mangotra VII-B. The dance was choreographed by Ms. Shalini Pradhan. Mr. Sanjeet Mehra also accompanied the school team.
Ms. Ruchi Chabra, Principal, Delhi Public, Jammu applauded the efforts of the team and also wished them good luck for their future endeavors. Headmistress, Ms Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion.
