DPS JAMMU WON GALAXY OF MEDALS IN INTER DISTRICT LEVEL ATHELETIC MEET

Delhi Public School, Jammu, students won Galaxy of Medals in District Level Athletic Meet organized by the Department of Youth Service and Sports, Jammu, held at Samba on 4th & 5th September 2016. Aditi Aryan-X B won Gold Medals in 100 mtr & 800 mtrs. (Under 16 Category).

Silver Medals winners are as follows- Category U/14 -Haroon Mumtaz-VII J-(Shot Put), Adhav-VIII A (200 mts), Category U/16 Suraj-X J (Discuss), Amaan-X H(100 mts & Long Jump), Kriti Koul-VIII A (100 mts) and and Praviti Dhar-VIII F (400 mts), Category U/18 - Harneet Singh XII G (Long Jump).

Bronze Medal won by Category U/14 – Damanpreet Singh-IX J (100 mts), Vagesh Kumra-VIII A (Shotput & Discuss), Category U/16 Abid-X J (200 mtr) Kriti Koul-VIII A(800mts) and Sadaf Mumtaz-X I (Shot put), Category U/18 – Harneet Sing- XII G (220 mts). Aditi Aryan-X B and Harneet Singh-XII G selected for the National Level which is going to be held later.

Principal, Ms Ruchi Chabra congratulated and lauded the efforts of all the winners, their parents and the coach Ms Mandeep Kour. Headmistress, Ms Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion. Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Mr. S S Sodhi also applauded and conveyed their best wishes to all the winners for their future endeavours.
