DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATED HINDI DIWAS

Delhi Public School, Jammu, organized special assembly to celebrate Hindi Diwas with great fervor and enthusiasm. Arpita IX B and Abu Saiyam IX I of Chenab House hosted the Event. Rhythm Jain-VIII A, Chenab House, enlighten the spectators by sharing the origin and significance of Hindi Diwas. It was followed by a Song presented by the School choir. The Highlight of the event was the “Kavita Ghoshthi” in which students from classes II to VIII participated and recited the Hindi Poems written by famous and renowned personalities from the world of Hindi Literature. Baseem Kundu-VIII C, Arshia- VII A, Shubhika Jain-V D, Pranvi Gupta-V G, Tanishka Sood-IV G, Dikshansh Gupta-IV F,Aayat Fatima-III G, Sanidhya Raj- III J, Sparsh Bakshi II F and Kashvi Arora-II B presented Kavita Goshthi in a magnificent manner and left the audience spell-bound by reciting the poems of the noble laureates of Hindi literature Mahadevi Verma, Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Shri Makhan Lal Chaturvedi, Sumitra Nandan Pant,Gopal Dass etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms Ruchi Chabra, blessed and applauded all the participants for their recital and urged to respect and adore the pride of India, National Language- “Hindi”. While appreciating the efforts of the students and teachers of Chenab House, Headmistress Ms Meenu Gupta stressed on taking pride in their National Language Hindi and strives to spread its richness all over the world. The President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director Mr. S S Sodhi also forwarded their best wishes to all on this solemn occasion. Ms Rohina, Teacher, Chenab House, presented the Vote of Thanks.
