*DPS Jammu Hosts Third Edition of MUN 2025: A Celebration of Dialogue, Diplomacy, and Youth Leadership*

*Young Diplomats Redefine Global Discourse at DPS Jammu*

Jammu, November 8: Delhi Public School Jammu proudly hosted the Third Edition of the DPS Jammu Model United Nations (DPS’J MUN 2025) from 6th to 8th November 2025, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing globally aware, articulate, and compassionate young leaders.

With participation from over 240 delegates of Classes IX to XII, including students from DPS Nagbani, the three-day conference provided a vibrant platform for debate, negotiation, and global citizenship. Guided by the theme “Advocate. Ameliorate. Align.”, students deliberated on urgent world issues, learning to balance conviction with compassion and idealism with realism.

The event was led with vision by Secretary-General Vaidik Taggar and Director-General Manaswin Mahajan, under the mentorship of Ms. Arti Sharma, whose guidance shaped the conference into a dynamic arena for youth diplomacy.

The Organising Committee, led by Momin Malik and Alok Gupta, ensured seamless execution with the support of 35 dedicated members.
The International Press Team, headed by Ashmika (Head of Journalism) and Nakshatrika Gupta (Head of Photography), captured every highlight of the event through insightful coverage and visuals.

The Public Dialogue Team, led by Arshia Talwar and Tanishka Sharma, facilitated inter-committee communication and encouraged collaboration across councils.

The conference began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, presentation of bouquets to dignitaries, and a graceful Krishna Vandana.
Addresses by the Director-General and Secretary-General were followed by an inspiring speech by Principal Ms. Ruchi Chabra, who officially declared the conference open. She highlighted how MUNs empower students to think critically, speak confidently, and lead with empathy. The ceremony concluded with a soulful instrumental rendition of the National Anthem.

The conference concluded with reflections by the Core Secretariat, Ms. Arti Sharma, Principal Ms. Ruchi Chabra, Vice Principal Ms. Meenu Gupta, and Deputy Headmaster Mr. Umesh Kumar Sharma.
Ms. Neha Choudhary (Teacher In-Charge, DPS Nagbani) presented a thoughtful review, followed by a highlight video and Vote of Thanks by Momin Malik and Alok Gupta.

In her concluding remarks, Principal Ms. Ruchi Chabra praised the delegates’ maturity and the Secretariat’s leadership, urging students to embrace debate as a way to build empathy and awareness.
Vice Principal Ms. Meenu Gupta commended the poise and collaboration displayed by every participant, calling MUNs “a celebration of youthful intellect and harmony.”

The School Management — Hon’ble President-RCT Sh. M. K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chairperson Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji, and Hon’ble Sh. S. S.
