DPS JAMMU’S MADHAVENDRA SINGH EXCELS AT NATIONAL SOFT TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

Delhi Public School Jammu is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its talented students in recent national and district-level sports events.
Madhavendra Singh, a student of Class XI-E, brought laurels to the school and his parents by clinching the Silver Medal at the 2nd Senior National Soft Tennis Championship organized by the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India, held in Srinagar from 1st to 6th November 2025.
In another remarkable accomplishment, Vasu Sawhney of Class XI-H, the Sports Secretary of DPS Jammu, secured the Runner-up position and bronze medal in the Jammu District Softball Championship organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association at GGM Science College, Jammu, from 7th to 8th November 2025. Competing in the Under-17 age category, Vasu has also qualified for the National Softball Championship scheduled to be held in January 2026.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, along with Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, and the dedicated school staff, congratulated Madhavendra, Vasu, and their proud parents on their brilliant performances. They also extended their best wishes to the students for continued success in all their future endeavours.
