DPS Jammu Students Shine at National Dance Championship 2025

The National Dance Championship 2025, organized by KANHA Dance Academy, Bhatinda, Punjab, was held on 9th November 2025. Priyal Ashok Gupta (Class VIII-A) brought laurels by securing the Runner-up Trophy in the competition.
Along with Priyal, three other students — Zora Mukherjee (II-D), Saanvi Bhartia (VIII-E), and Samaira (V-J) — also participated in the championship. All four students showcased their exceptional talent in the Classical Kathak Dance category during the final round.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from talented dancers across the country, with participants from Jammu & Kashmir delivering remarkable performances that received great appreciation from both the audience and the judges.
The students were ably guided and accompanied by Ms. Ritu Dogra, the School Dance Teacher.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, along with Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, and the staff, congratulated the winner, all participants, and their parents. They also extended their best wishes for continued success in future endeavours.
