VARDAAN AND DHARYA OF DPS JAMMU QUALIFY FOR NATIONAL SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP

Vardaan Rastogi (IX-D) and Dharya Kotwal (VI-D), students of Delhi Public School Jammu, have qualified for the National Level Shooting Championship.
Vardaan earned his qualification with an excellent performance at the 44th North Zone Shooting Championship held in Dehradun from 4th to 6th October 2025. Competing in the U-17 Boys category in the 10m Air Pistol event, he scored an impressive 349/400.
Dharya qualified through his impressive participation in the 27th All India Kumar Surinder Singh Shooting Championship held in Chennai from 27th October to 4th November 2025. She participated in the U-14 Girls category in the 10m Air Rifle event and achieved a commendable score of 386/400.
The National Level Shooting Championship is scheduled to be held in Bhopal and Delhi from 11th December 2025 onwards. Both students were ably guided and trained by the School Shooting Coach, Ms. Renu Devi.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, along with the Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, and the staff, congratulated Vardaan, Dharya, and their proud parents on this brilliant achievement. They also extended their best wishes to both students for the upcoming national championship.
