DPS Jammu Carries Out Book Donation Drive Under the Visionary Guidance of Hon'ble Pro-Vice Chairperson Dr. Kunwarani Ritu Singh Ji

Upholding the belief that education is the strongest tool for rebuilding hope and securing a brighter future for every child, DPS Jammu, under the visionary guidance of its Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chairperson, Kunwrani Dr. Ritu Singh ji, carried out a significant Book Donation Drive in collaboration with the Bhomitr Foundation. The donation was conducted under the aegis of the Maharaja Hari Singh Foundation, further strengthening the spirit of service and community welfare.

Founded by Bhoomi Thapar, DPS Jammu Alumna (Batch of 2001), the Bhomitr Foundation—along with its dedicated team of volunteers—is committed to rebuilding lives through initiatives focused on educational support, environmental conservation, sustainable livelihoods, and social upliftment.

As part of this collaboration, the foundation will oversee the logistics and distribution of around 1000 books and notebooks donated by DPS Jammu for the needy children in areas including Peer Kho, Mangu Chak, GMC Jammu, and Shalamar Hospital. The effort is particularly aimed at supporting those severely affected by the recent floods, ensuring their academic continuity and helping them regain access to vital learning resources.

The esteemed management of DPS Jammu under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director-Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji appreciated the deep efforts for this noble initiative.
