Laksh Kishore Malhotra, a student of class XII of Delhi Public School, Jammu has brought laurels for the school by penning his novel entitled 'Breakup with a smile'. It has been published by Gyan Books, New Delhi. In a special assembly held in the school, Laksh discussed the theme of his novel which is set in the backdrop of teenage life and revolves around the life of Sharief Malhotra , an average teenager whose life is full of problems until the mysteriously beautiful Mahira Bhatt comes into his life and puts it back into pieces.
The book delivers the message of happiness, of dealing with the problems in a better way and not giving up till the goal is achieved. It is a fresh concept that explains teenage mindset in a better way, while the plot is different than the clichéd, done and dusted available ones in the market.
It was a proud moment for Delhi Public School, Jammu as the young author signed his book amidst his new fan following and presented it to the Senior Library.
Principal, DPS, Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated Laksh for bringing out his maiden book and expressed hope that other students will also emulate him and work in the literary field to channelize their overflowing emotions and restless energy.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Sh. S S Sodhi appreciated the effort of Laksh Kishore and wished him good luck for his future writings.
