DPS Student Awarded 'Student of the Year-2016-17'

Nigarish Zehra , class IInd student of Delhi Public School Jammu was conferred 'Student of the Year Award 2016-2017' by CEEOINDIA in collaboration with State Government of Jammu & Kashmir & Ministry of Skill Development , Entrepreneur, Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India for her dedicated role towards her society and school .
Nigarish had participated in online campaigning and subsequent telephonic interview on the theme Empowering Girl Child and won the heart of the judges based on her answers , attitude and her leadership qualities. Out of hundreds of entries received by CEEOINDIA, Nagarish topped the list of 15 recipients in the J&K state. Principal, Delhi Public School Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra presented the award to little Nigarish in the morning assembly in presence of her mother to boost her morale. Headmistress , Ms. Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S S Sodhi Ji also conveyed their best wishes to the winner and her parents.
