DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL JAMMU HOLDS ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

DPS Jammu in collaboration with Tata Building India held an Essay writing competition on the topic 'What can you do to stop Global warming, Climate Change and conservation of environment', for classes VI-XII in its premises today. The initiative was taken to motivate the younger generation towards thinking about Nation building.
Before the start of competition, the children viewed an hour long video on Global Warming, Climate Change and environment conservation after which they were given sheets of paper to pen down their essays, in the prescribed limit of 500 words.
The top ten essays selected from the Junior and Senior categories will shortly be sent for city and National Level judgment by jury of Tata Building India.
Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra DPS Jammu appreciated the initiative taken by the Tata Group and extended best wishes to all participants. Headmistress Ms. Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S S Sodhi Ji also conveyed their best wishes to all the participants for their bright future.
