UNION MINISTER FELICITATES DPS JAMMU STUDENT IN NATIONAL LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION

Ms Uma Bharti, Union Minister, GOI, felicitated consolation prize along with cash award of Rs 5000/- to Rhythm Jain of the class VIII-A of Delhi Public School, Jammu, in 7th National Level Painting Competition on Water Conservation and Pollution with the theme "Save Water, Save Earth", organized by CGWB (Central Ground Water Board) Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation at August Kranti Garden, India Gate, New Delhi on 8th Feb 2017. Rhythm won this coveted award out of 87 participants who were selected out of 3 lac children who competed for this prestigious National Art Event from all over India. Earlier too, Rhythm had won third prize and cash award of Rs 2000/- at State Level Competition which was held at University of Jammu. Mr. K B Biswas, Chairman, CGWB & Dr. Amarjit Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Devleopment & Ganga Rejuvenation were also present on the occasion.

Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded the student and felicited her with apprecitation certificate and a trophy at a specially organised event at the school. she also congratulated her parents and the teacher Mr. Suresh Sharma for this accomplishment. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta too expressed her admiration for the achiever.
Hon’ble President RCT, Shri M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Sh. S S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to Rhythm Jain and her parents. They also wished for her bright future.
