DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL JAMMU WON 3 GOLD, 4 SILVER & 6 BRONZE MEDALS IN ALL INDIA PAINTING AND SLOGAN CONTEST

Delhi Public School, Jammu won 3 Gold, 4 Silver, 6 Bronze Medals & 6 Certificates of Appreciation in Painting and Slogan Contest organized by Consumer India in collaboration with Human Rights Group of the Society for Upliftment of Masses (an NGO in Special Consultative status with the ECOSOC of United Nations). In Painting Contest on “Global Warming and Survival” Vrindalika Sharma – III D won Gold Medal, Silver medals were won by Vikalp Arora – XI, Arshiya – VII A and Ishita Anand VIII C, while Bronze Medals were won by Sohiela Sharma – XI, Prathmansh Sharma- VI I & Kritika Sharma VIII A. Samridhi Singh – VI H, Tarini Magotra – VIII A and Devansh Malhotra-VI E were awarded with the Certificates of Appreciation.
The Slogan Contest was based on “Say No to Electronic Waste” in which Kritika Sharma-VII A & Lavanya Talwar – VIII A won Gold Medals, Sohiela Sharma-XI won Silver Medal while Bronze Medal winners were Mrigendra Jasrotia-VI B, Divyansh Manhas- V-I & Medhavi Tikoo- VIII A. Rhythm Jain – VIII A, Devansh Bhalla-VIII B and RIdhvi Sharma-VI-I were awarded with Certificates of Appreciation in this category. All prize winning entries of this contest have been displayed on the website and blog of the Human Rights Department and Consumer India.
Ms Ruchi Chabra, Principal, DPS Jammu appreciated the talent & imagination of the winners. She gave away the certificates and medals to the winners. Headmistress, Ms Meenu Gupta also applauded the efforts and achievements of the winners and their teacher mentors.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Mr. S. S. Sodhi Ji also conveyed their best wishes to all the winners and their proud parents on this accomplishment.
