DPS Jammu clinched galaxies of medals in Inter School 7th District Jammu Rope Skipping championship held at Rehari, Jammu from 12th to 13th May, 2017, under the aegis of J & K Rope Skipping Association and Rope Skipping Federation of India. The list of medal winners is as follows:-
Gold Medals:-
Azeen (VI-H), Ojas Bhasin, (V-J), Dhruv (VI-H), Nandan Bali (VII-J), Arushi (VI-I), Vidhushi (IX-F), Ojas Jamwal (VI-C), Aradhya (VI-H), Aryan Nanda (VI-D), Rajveer (VI-E), Akhil (VI-E), Ojas (V-J).
Silver Medals:-
Pragati (V-D), Aanvi (V-D), Manvi (VI-D), Raymon (VI-D), Arshin (VI-H), Vrinda (VI-H), Taneesha (V-D), Ayushi (VI-C), Ananya (VI-C), Sachida (VIII-B), Azeen (VI-H).
Bronze Medals:-
Gurpreet Singh (V-H), Nabiha (V-F), Shriya (IV-B), Sheevanshi (V-F), Haraseesh (VII-A), Samarth (VI-D), Pulkit (VI-D), Eklavya (VI-D), Jaskiran (V-D), Nandan Bali (VII-J), Pratham (VI-F), Thvisha (VI-C), Ojas (VI-C), Arnav (VI-C), Pavani Mishra (I).

Principal DPS Jammu, Ms Ruchi Chabra applauded the winners, their parents and coach Mr. Suresh Kumar and remarked that the winning medals would serve as encouragement for other young players to follow their path. Headmistress Ms. Meenu Gupta also appreciated the performance of the players and congratulated them.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Sh. S S Sodhi ji also conveyed their best wishes to the winners.
