DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL JAMMU ORGANISED INTER-HOUSE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

DPS Jammu organised Inter-House Football Championship for classes VI to VIII from 13th to 18th May, 2017. Five Houses of the School namely, Chenab, Jhelum, Tawi, Ganga and Yamuna Houses took part in the match. The championship was played on ‘knock out basis’ after their preliminary matches. Tawi House and Jhelum House reached upto the finals whereas Tawi House won the match by defeating Jhelum House by Four goals to Zero. Prerit (VII-E) of Tawi House scored Hat-Trick by 3 goals while Zohaib (VIII-E) scored one goal.
Principal DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners, their coach Mr. David Masih and all participants for their brilliant show of skills. Headmistress, Ms Meenu Gupta also expressed her appreciation for the team.
