DPS JAMMU ORGANISES INTER HOUSE BADMINTON COMPETITION

Delhi Public School Jammu organised Inter-House Badminton Championship for classes VI to VIII girl’s category. Five Houses of the School namely, Chenab, Ganga, Jhelum, Tawi, and Yamuna Houses took part in the match. After their preliminary league matches, the two Houses Chenab and Yamuna qualified for the finals. The final match was played between Chenab House and Yamuna House. Deputy Head Master, Mr. Ravi Kotru and Chief Coordinator, Mr. Umesh Sharma cheered up the finalists by shaking hands with the players and conveyed their wishes before the final match began. Chenab House defeated Yamuna House in the straight set (2-1). The match was officiated by Mr. Sudesh Manhas, Ms. Meenu Ragesh and Mr. Amarjyoti.
Principal DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and all participants for their brilliant show of skills. Headmistress, Ms Meenu Gupta also expressed her appreciation for the participants.
