DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL ORGANIZES INTERACTIVE SESSION ON ‘SWACCH BHARAT ABHIYAN’

DPS Jammu organized an interactive session on ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’ for children during the ongoing summer camp at the school. Mr. Kewal Krishan Wadhera, social activist and member Red Cross Society, Bharat Vikas Parishad and Vichar Kranti Manch was the resource person on the occasion.
The session started with an ice breaking the therapeutic laughter session, after which Mr. Wadhera narrated his personal experiences and challenges pertaining to cleanliness drives undertaken by him, all over India. Students asked him lot of questions, which the resource person answered patiently. The session covered all areas of hygiene, cleanliness and its benefits. At the end, students took an oath to keep their home, school and surroundings clean.
Principal DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, felicitated Mr. Wadhera with a memento and also urged students to maintain harmony of life with all existence by keeping their environment clean. Ms. Meenu Gupta, Headmistress thanked the resource person for inspiring the children for the right cause.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji & Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji also appreciated the efforts of Mr. K.K Wadhera.
