DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU LAUNCHED A PLANTATION DRIVE

Students of DPS Jammu launched a plantation drive in the school campus, in an effort to spread awareness about the need to save our environment. Students of Class Prep made paper bags and decorated them with drawings and quotes on ‘Environment’. ‘Say No to polythene bags’ and ‘Recycle’ and ‘Reuse’ was their Mantra.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded the efforts of the students and staff and emphasized on the importance of the trees and the need to protect them. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also planted saplings along with the students of Class 1st and 2nd , and stressed on the fact that it is the responsibility of everyone to save the environment. Co-ordinator, Pre-Primary wing, Ms. Preeti Abrol and other staff members were also present on the occasion.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji also conveyed their best wishes to the students and urged them to do their best to save the environment.
