DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU EXCELS IN NATIONAL SCIENCE CONGRESS

The students of DPS Jammu made entry into the State level Science exhibition after qualifying the District level round at National Children Science Congress-2017 organized by National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTS), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, held on 28th October, 2017 at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The project presented by DIPSITES in the senior category on ‘Application of Plant Tissue Culture’ was highly appreciated by the judges and was shortlisted among eleven other projects, out of thirty, which were proposed.
The following students participated in the senior category:-
Pratyaksh Sahni (IX-A), Amreen Iqbal (IX-H), Alpesha Gupta (IX-H), Shirin (IX-H), Harkartik (IX-H) and Agrim Nag (XI-D).
The participants in the junior category were:-
Sneha Koul (VIII-I), Siya Gupta (VIII-I), Ayushi Raina (VIII-J) and Mannat Sabarwal (VIII-J).
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded all the students and wished them luck for the upcoming events. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also congratulated the teams.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrnai Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji also conveyed their best wishes to the students and their parents.
