DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL JAMMU WINS NHPC PAINTING COMPETITION

For the third year in the row, DPS Jammu won prestigious state level NHPC painting competition. Sarthak Sharma (VI-K) and Rhythm Jain (IX-A) brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning first prize and a cash award of Rs. 20000/- each in the said competition on “Energy Conservation” 2017 organized by NHPC (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited), Ministry of Power, Govt. of India held at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu on 14th November, 2017. Around 30609 students from 270 schools of J&K state had participated in the said competition. Prof. R.D Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, the Chief Guest on the occasion, felicitated the winners.
Hon’ble Director, DPS Jammu, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji congratulated both the winners and their teacher incharge Mr. Suresh Sharma for the hat-trick achievement. Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra and Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta were also present on the occasion.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
