DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU EXCELS IN WUSHU AND BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP

Vaibhav Zutshi (XI-B) & Mohd. Tehmour Javaid (IX-C) of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning Gold medals in Junior age group in 1st Sports and Culture Development Foundation (National Games 2017-18) organized by World Sports Culture Development Foundation held at DMS University, Jalandhar, Punjab from 25th November to 27th November, 2017. Both the students were also felicitated with the Certificate of Merit.
In State Badminton Championship, Krishika Mahajan (VI-F) and Udhayan Sharma (IV-D) stood Runner up in U-13 & U-10 Category, respectively in 44th Jammu and Kashmir State Badminton Championship organized by All J&K State Badminton Association held at Indoor Sports Complex, M.A Stadium, Jammu from 23rd November to 27th November, 2017.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and their coaches, Mr. Sunil Dev and Ms. Preeti Gupta. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also appreciated them.
