DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU WINS MEDALS IN ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

Students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the institution by winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in an Essay Writing Competition organized by Tata Building India held on 22nd December, 2017 in school premises. The topic of the essay was “India at 70 is a nation of great challenges and opportunities. How can you contribute in the coming 10 years.” More than 300 students of DPS Jammu participated in the said competition and six students won the competition. The winners are Nitin Sharma (XI-E), Gold Medal, Navya Dhar (IX-B) Silver Medal and Rutkar Koul (IX-F) Bronze Medal in the Senior category while in the junior category, Tanisha Katyal (VII-G) won Gold Medal, Huma Manzoor (VIII-A) won Silver Medal and Divya Gupta (VIII-C) won Bronze Medal. All the winners were awarded with the certificate of Merit by the Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and wished them luck for the next round of Essay Writing Competition. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also lauded the efforts of the students.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
