Summer Camp – Closing Ceremony

The 15-days Summer Camp organized by Delhi Public School (DPS),Jammu concluded on 25 June 2014, with a gala valedictory function.Showcasing their learning and talent, the students presented a colorful cultural program includingwestern and classical style of dances, skits, yoga and wushudemonstrations,folk tales, etc.The audience were mesmerized by the performance of the young students. Earlier, an art exhibition displaying the items prepared by children in art & craft activity was inaugurated by Dr. (Mrs.) D. Joseph, Additional Director/Principal of DPS Jammu.Glass and fabric paintings,mosaic work, pottery& handicraft items prepared by the children during the camp wereexhibited. This was followed by a display of swimming strokes learned by the young swimmers at the swimming pool, under the supervision of their instructors.She appreciating the efforts and keen interest of the students and teachers. Congratulating everyone for the successful conduct of the summer camp, Ms. RuchiChabra, Headmistress DPS Jammu remarked that the camp experience would not only contribute towards nurturing and grooming of the students, but will also impact their lives in a big way. Mr. Umesh Sharma, Ms. MrignainiPathania,DrPrem Singh, and Ms. Sangeeta Jain were also present on the occasion. Certificates were presented to the participants during the ceremony.
