DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU ALUMNI CRACKS UPSC CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION 2018 IN FIRST ATTEMPT

Akshay Labroo, Alumni of DPS Jammu, batch 2010-11, brought laurels to the school and his parents by cracking UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 in first attempt with his rank being 104.
In the felicitation ceremony held today, the Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra presented Akshay with a cash reward of Rs. 10,000/- and a memento while the school Management, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon'ble President, RCT, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji, Hon'ble PVC, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji, Hon'ble Director, staff members congratulated Akshay and his proud parents for the glorious achievement. They also assured him for all necessary support for his future endeavours.
Akshay had been a brilliant student excelling in both academics and co-curricular activities during his school years and was among the topper students in the CBSE Board Exams. At present, Akshay is working on Research, Analytics and Communications in the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
Akshay gives credit of his success to his parents and all teachers of his school. He expressed his gratitude for the support extended to him by the DPS family throughout his days at DPS Jammu while his proud parents Mrs. Veena Labroo and Mr. Ramesh Labroo also thanked the school management and staff for providing excellent knowledge base to their ward, helping him achieve success.
