DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU EXCELS IN INTER-SCHOOL POSTER MAKING COMPETITION ON ROAD SAFETY WEEK

Students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd positions and consolation prizes in Inter-School On the Spot Poster Making Competition organized by 92.7 Big FM and Motor Vehicles Department, J&K on the occasion of 29th National Road Safety Week on 28th April, 2018 held at Wave Mall, Jammu. Out of 1100 students from different schools of J&K, 59 students from DPS Jammu participated in the said competition. Dr. V.S Santhil Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, Chief Guest on the occasion felicitated the students. The students who won prizes are:-
Group-A
Vrindalika Sharma (IV-D)-1st Prize, Parina Kandhari (IV-K)-2nd Prize, Pankhudi Gupta (IV-F)-3rd Prize, Arya Bhalla (IV-A) & Jenna Nuryn (III-H)-Consolation prizes.
Group-B
Rishita Mahajan (V-I)-1st Prize, Aashvi Nargotra (VI-K)-2nd Prize, Aneesh Sharma (VIII-F)-3rd Prize, Akshar Basson (V-G), Divyansh Manhas (VI-K), Ridoomrignayani (V-A) & Samraghi Pandoh (VIII-F)-Consolation Prizes.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and their parents. She also blessed them for upcoming events. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also applauded them.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji also extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
