DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU INAUGURATES SUMMER CAMP -2018 WITH DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES

Sh. Ranvijay Singh and Sh. S.S Sodhi inaugurated Summer Camp for the students of DPS Jammu in presence of Ms. Ruchi Chabra, Principal, Ms. Meenu Gupta, Headmistress and other senior staff of the school. The school has arranged many activities like Swimming, Painting, Shooting, Skating, Self-Defence, Cricket, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Speedball, Basket ball, Art & Craft, Theatre, Western Dance, Classical Dance, Music-Vocal/Instrumental, Eco Club, Gardening, English Conversation, Embroidery, Stitching, Football, Volleyball, Cook without fire, etc. for the students to enable them to take part in the activities of their choice. Apart from the summer camp activities, literacy classes for under privileged children looked after by the school's N.C.C & Prayas Club, have also been arranged.
Sh. Ranvijay Singh, Trustee and Sh. S.S Sodhi, Director of the school took a round of all the class rooms and witnessed different activities areas, to boost the morale of the students and staff of DPS Jammu. They appreciated the school staff for organizing the same at a large scale. Sh. Ranvijay Singh Ji also stated that he’s very much impressed to see the level of the activities which is very high and even better than other leading schools in New Delhi. He added that these activities are very necessary for the students to keep themselves fit and lead a healthy and happy life.
Sh. Sodhi also interacted with the senior faculty of the school and congratulated the Principal and teachers for impressive CBSE result of classes X & XII declared recently. He also congratulated the staff for organizing the summer camp with various activities.
Earlier, a special assembly was held in the school premises. The Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra welcomed everyone to the Summer Camp 2018-19. She said that Summer Camp would help in to enhancing and nurturing every child’s hidden talent and instill confidence in them. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
