DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU WINS PRIZE IN INTER-SCHOOL ON THE SPOT PAINTING AND ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

Students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning Prizes and cash award in Inter-School On the Spot Painting and Essay Writing Competition organized by Income Tax Department on account of celebrations of Income Tax Day-2018 on 24th July, 2018 at Jammu Club. The students were given topics on “Contribution of Income Tax in Nation Building”, “My Green Planet”, “Beti Bachao-Beti Padao.”
Sarthak Sharma (VII-K) won second prize and a cash award of Rs. 2000/- in Painting Competition, Ayesha Konain (X-K) won third prize and cash award of Rs. 1500/- while Suhasni Sharma (IX-K) and Ramnik Sharma (X-K) won consolation prize and cash award of Rs. 1000/- each in Essay Writing Competition. Chief Guest, Sh. Permod Kohli, former Chief Justice of High Court of Sikkim, felicitated the winners.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and teacher incharges Mr. Suresh Sharma, Ms. Arti Sharma and Ms. Indu Bala. Headmistress Ms. Meenu Gupta also extended her best wishes.
