DPS JAMMU STUDENTS ATTEND INTERACTIVE SESSION ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

A thoughtful and interactive session on Personality Development was organized for the students of class XI & XII. The resource persons were Ms. Supreet Kour, School Counsellor and Ms. Renu Sambyal, who engaged the students in discussion and PPT presentation.
The session was attended by around 400 children. The presentation was based upon personality development and included motivational video clippings which carried the message that we should never give up and have a strong will power. The children were encouraged to be optimistic and learn to love themselves as they are. The key points of the session were: Emotional Intelligence, Self-Realization, How to build confidence, Positive thinking, Focusing towards aim, Be yourself, Don’t copy others, Overall Development (Cognitive, Conative and Effective).
The session ended with all participants writing a note on their experience of the session attended while also expressing what they understood about Personality and ways to develop it.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra lauded the Resource Persons for their initiative and said that it is important to appreciate the individual requirements of children and to respond to it with passion and sensitivity.
Hon'ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon'ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon'ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji appreciated the fruitful session and extended their best wishes to the staff and students.
