PRE-PRIMARY WING, DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU CELEBRATES ENVIRONMENT DAY

Delhi Public School, Jammu celebrated Environment Day in the Pre-Primary wing of the school. The purpose was to inculcate love and gratitude for nature among children. Around 200 children actively participated in various activities organized on the occasion. Students of classes Pre-Nursery and Nursery coloured the pre-designed sheets on the theme “Save Trees", while students of class Prep spread awareness about how Plastic is becoming a menace for the Earth. They pledged not to use polythene bags. They made beautifully decorated paper bags. Students of Class I made Colourful Posters with slogans "Green Earth, Clean Earth". Teachers explained various ways to the little ones in which to help Mother Earth become clean & green.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded the green initiative taken by the Pre-Primary wing staff & students.
Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta too congratulated the staff & students for the successful conduct of Environment Day activities.
Hon'ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon'ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon'ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the students and staff for organizing Environment Day and urged them to maintain a safe, healthy and clean environment.
