Primary and Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School, Jammu celebrated ‘Hindi Week’ with great fanfare and enthusiasm. It was an attempt to promote and propagate the use of our national language and to explore the hidden talents of the students. The programme started with the lighting of lamp followed by a variety of cultural programmes including Saraswati Vandana, Krishna Leela, skits, poems and songs. The entire week saw a gamut of Hindi language based activities taking place in the classes Pre-Nur to v like Kavita Goshthi, story telling, book reading, Meri Pehchan, Language games : Bhoojho to Jaane, I-card making, Shabdon ka Khel etc. While conducting these activities, students were helped to organize their thoughts and expression in Hindi.
