ADITI OF DPS JAMMU EXCELS IN DISTRICT LEVEL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION

Aditi Lohiya (VIII-G) of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and her parents by securing second position in District Level Philatelic Exhibition organized by the Department of Posts, J&K Circle held at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu from 20-21 November, 2019. She participated in Special Cover Design Competition in senior group on the topic ‘Save Environment’ on the occasion in Gandhi Pex-2019. Out of the total 25 schools and over 2000 students from all over J&K, Aditi won the coveted 2nd position. She was also felicitated with the certificate of participation and a trophy. Sh. Jagdish Raj Angural, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated Aditi and her parents for the achievement. She said that Aditi’s achievement would certainly act as a motivation for other students to excel in the similar activities in future. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion.
