KRISHIKA OF DPS JAMMU WINS WOMEN’S SINGLES TITLE IN STATE BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP

Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning a total tally of 14 trophies in the 46th J&K State Badminton Championship organized by Badminton Association of Jammu and Kashmir held at M.A Stadium from 7-10 December, 2019. The details are as under:-

U-17 Doubles – Winner
U-17 Mix Doubles – Winner
U-19 Doubles – Winner
Women Singles – Winner
Women Doubles – Runner Up
• Shambhavi Rajput (VI-K)
U-13 Singles – Runner Up
U-13 Doubles – Runner Up
U-15 Doubles – Winner
U-17 Doubles – Winner
• Udayan Sharma (VI-D)
U-13 Singles – Winner
U-13 Doubles – Winner
• Shreya Gutpa (VI-B) – Consolation prize
All students were also felicitated with the cash prize. Further, Krishika and Shambhavi have also been selected for Nationals to be held at Bhuvaneshwar from 17-22 December, 2019.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners, their parents and coach, Ms. Preeti Gupta for the achievement and for the upcoming competitions. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta too appreciated the achievers.
