DPS JAMMU ORGANIZES ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION

In order to help children enjoy the beauty of thoughts, feeling, rhyme and rhythm, DPS Jammu organized English Recitation Competition for class Prep on 22.01.2020. Around 150 children participated in the trial and final rounds enthusiastically. The theme of their poem varied from books, nature, mother to exam and their favourite food. The children recited these poems with action, confidence and zestful intonation.
The first position was bagged by Alen Arora (Prep-C) and Reedha Malik (Prep –C). The Second prize was handed over to Trisha Dogra (Prep-A) and Aayansh Gupta (Prep-A). The Third prize winners were Shivika Manhas (Prep-A) and Aarav Sharma (Prep-B) consolation prize were bagged by Ashvee Katoch (Prep-B) and And Fatima (Prep-B).
The event was judged by Ms. Vandana Sharma and Ms. Ritu Vir, the faculty of the school.
The Principal, DPS Jammu Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and highly appreciated the efforts of the all participants, teachers and parents.
Headmistress, DPS Jammu Ms. Meenu Gupta said it was heartwarming to see the amazing performance of little children.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the winners and participants.
