Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School, Jammu organized special assembly to celebrate the joy and festivity of Janamashtami. The assembly began with the introduction by Ayan Singh Jasrotia and Mohisha Gupta of class I-H, who also compered the whole assembly beautifully which was prepared by Ms. Pooja Langeh. The prayer was delivered by Advika Mahajan of class I-K followed by the school choir by students of class I who presented an enchanting, endearing and very melodious song expressing devotion towards Lord Krishna prepared under the guidance of Ms. Saurabh Sharma & Mr. Anil Kumar. The song took everyone on a spiritual journey where everyone could visualize the little Kanhaiya. The song was followed by a beautiful dance on Krishna Leela presented by the students of class Prep which was choreographed by Ms. Anju Jain. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra greeted everyone on the occasion of Janamashtami. She said all the festivals must be celebrated with great zeal as they not only showcase our culture but also teach us so much. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also wished all and said that Krishna teaches us to be brave and follow the path of righteousness. The assembly ended with the National Anthem. Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji wished the students and staff a happy Janamashtami.
