Krishna Janmashtami is a festival which is dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is the eighth incarnation or avatar of Lord Vishnu. He showed various miraculous deeds which came to be known as Krishna Leela. Lord Krishna was born to protect the world from evils and remove all the difficulties and sufferings.Throughout his life he played different roles as a teacher, mentor, lover, deity, friend etc. Inspired by this, students of Pre-Primary Wing of Delhi Public School had “Krishna Crown Making” , "Krishna Flute Making" , Colouring Activity & Crown decoration Activity on Janmashtami. These activities aimed at developing fine motor skills among the children and at the same time aimed at initiating an understanding regarding the sentiments of being close to their traditions and cultural values . The students thoroughly enjoyed making these colourful crowns & flutes.
